You are so right and it is so hard to say NO.

These days we try to stay so positive that it makes it even more difficult to tell someone 'no'.

I use a method whereby I tell others I will let them know tomorrow. I always sleep on major decisions.

Now I know it is said that the movers and shakers jump right in and make snap decisions. I prefer to sleep on it.

What I do is ask for guidance before I sleep. Being very specific in your request always helps. Usually I am awakened in the night with the answer to my question or the manner in which I am to say "NO" that leaves everyone feeling good about the situation.

Mahalo nui loa (heartfelt thanks) for writing about the need to say NO especially when it means staying true to ourselves.
