Character, Emotions and Words, but the greatest of this is Character
The ancient Greeks taught that all conversation involved three ingredients: Ethos, or the character of the speaker; Pathos, connecting with the emotions; and Logos, which is teh content or words used. While these three are important, I think the most important is the character of the speaker. What we say stems from who we are. Our character actually gives us the moral fitness to be able to influence others in any way, shape or form. Character is therefore the greatest of these.
