How to Build Character that Endures

Filed under: Personal Development — Herman Najoli @ 9:47 pm

Many people get stuck when it comes to building character. They keep finding themselves in character draining situations but have no concrete methodology for solidifying their character so that they don’t continue to fail every time their character is tested. Character development is a process that begins with the clarification of one’s personal values. Your values are the key to the sum total of your character. Your choice of values determines the quality of your character. When you select values such as integrity, love, courage, honesty, excellence or responsibility, and you live your life consistent with those values, every hour of every day, you actually become a person of solid character. It is your values that determine the kind of person you really are - your character. Values, therefore, are the building stones of character. Proper values ensure the development of solid character worth emulating.
